Rosie’s Passion For Teaching Children Through Water
Rosie Parrish recently graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Healthcare Business and a minor in Biophysics.
Rosie has a passion for working with children and helping them build confidence in and around the water. As a swim instructor, she enjoys creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment where little ones can develop essential water safety skills while building a lifelong love of the water. She joined Water Babies because she believes swimming is a life skill that every child should have the opportunity to learn.
A lifelong water enthusiast, Rosie loves wake surfing and spending time on the lake with family and friends. She knows firsthand that an early love for the water can open the door to a lifetime of fun and adventure—from swimming and boating to wake surfing and other water sports. She is passionate about helping young swimmers build the confidence and skills that make those experiences possible.
Outside of teaching, Rosie enjoys staying active, spending time with family and friends, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally. She is excited to be part of the Water Babies team and looks forward to helping families create positive and memorable experiences in the water.

How our lessons work
Supportive lessons
You and your child are together in the water along with your instructor until your child is ready to swim independently.
A minimum of 30 minutes long
Lessons take place each week, so it’s a wonderful way to bond with your baby away from the craziness of life.
Have fun!
Skills are taught through song, play and repetition, so there’s never a dull moment when you’re in the pool.
Tailored progress
Our teachers will tailor each lesson to your little one’s ability, so it’s only when they’re ready, we’re ready.
What we’ll teach you
Our program helps your little one develop essential swimming skills, confidence, and water safety from day one. We’ll teach you to teach your baby to swim.
- Water Familiarity – Helping your baby feel comfortable in the water.
- Natural Reflexes – Developing instincts into core aquatic skills.
- Independent Swimming – Learning different strokes and swimming freely.
- Water Safety – Essential skills to stay safe in and around water.
- Confidence Building – Encouraging self-assurance in and out of the pool.
