Sam’s Passion For Teaching Children Through Water
Sam has lived in the Charlotte area since Middle School. She originally grew up in South Florida where she grew her love for swimming and the water. Sam met her husband Evan when she lived in Missouri Summer of 2022-Spring of 2024. They are still getting settled back in the Charlotte area, now with their dog Rockie! Sam has taught swim lessons and has been a lifeguard on and off since she was 16.
Sam recently left teaching Physical Education to pursue her love for aquatics and swim lessons. She grew up swimming from a very early age and was very active in sports throughout her life. Her family also lives locally and has been heavily involved in sports; in fact it’s how her parents met. All of her life experiences and continued passion for teaching have led to her dream job of wanting to teach babies how to swim. Sam is very excited for the impact she can have for local families in this area as she shares her love for swimming and water safety!

How our lessons work
Supportive lessons
You and your child are together in the water along with your instructor until your child is ready to swim independently.
A minimum of 30 minutes long
Lessons take place each week, so it’s a wonderful way to bond with your baby away from the craziness of life.
Have fun!
Skills are taught through song, play and repetition, so there’s never a dull moment when you’re in the pool.
Tailored progress
Our teachers will tailor each lesson to your little one’s ability, so it’s only when they’re ready, we’re ready.
What we’ll teach you
Our program helps your little one develop essential swimming skills, confidence, and water safety from day one. We’ll teach you to teach your baby to swim.
- Water Familiarity – Helping your baby feel comfortable in the water.
- Natural Reflexes – Developing instincts into core aquatic skills.
- Independent Swimming – Learning different strokes and swimming freely.
- Water Safety – Essential skills to stay safe in and around water.
