Steve’s Passion For Teaching Children Through Water
As the Owner (and proud Fun Coordinator 💦) of Water Babies of Central Texas, I bring a coach’s heart and a splash of joy into early childhood swim education leading a world-class team dedicated to helping our tiniest swimmers learn essential water safety and foundational skills through fun, nurturing, and developmentally guided lessons.
With a background in performance coaching and business leadership, I’ve spent years helping people grow, build confidence, and celebrate meaningful milestones. Now, that same philosophy lives poolside where every wiggle, kick, and giggle is a step forward. We meet each child right where they are and guide them with patience, positivity, and plenty of encouragement.
My goal is simple: to create confident little swimmers, empower families, and turn every moment in the water into something safe, joyful, and full of smiles 🌊

How our lessons work
Supportive lessons
You and your child are together in the water along with your instructor until your child is ready to swim independently.
A minimum of 30 minutes long
Lessons take place each week, so it’s a wonderful way to bond with your baby away from the craziness of life.
Have fun!
Skills are taught through song, play and repetition, so there’s never a dull moment when you’re in the pool.
Tailored progress
Our teachers will tailor each lesson to your little one’s ability, so it’s only when they’re ready, we’re ready.
What we’ll teach you
Our program helps your little one develop essential swimming skills, confidence, and water safety from day one. We’ll teach you to teach your baby to swim.
- Water Familiarity – Helping your baby feel comfortable in the water.
- Natural Reflexes – Developing instincts into core aquatic skills.
- Independent Swimming – Learning different strokes and swimming freely.
- Water Safety – Essential skills to stay safe in and around water.
- Confidence Building – Encouraging self-assurance in and out of the pool.
